Structure for 2018-19
The Local Academy Board (LAB), formerly known as the Full Governing Body (FGB) meets at various times throught the academic year. At the Admin/Planning meeting in the autumn term responsibilities, structures and work programmes are agreed for the year ahead.
Separate Business and Education meetings are held each term to consider strategic issues in which all Governors are involved. These two committees also allow opportunities for other staff members to make presentations to governors on areas of school improvement.
- The Education Committee
- The Business Committee
In addition, the Headteacher Appraisal Review Panel works with the Headteacher to set objectives for the year ahead – and reviews progress against these.
Minutes of meetings of the LAB are available from the School on request.
