Mission Statement

Vision & Values

At Connaught we believe passionately in developing the whole child through inspirational teaching coupled with a broad, balanced and creative curriculum.

At the heart of our school are our three core values. These underpin everything that we strive to achieve for our pupils, staff, parents and community.

To be committed learners who enjoy learning, make outstanding progress and achieve.

To be confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.

To be caring citizens who make a positive contribution to society.

We aim to develop enquiring and lively minds as well as the knowledge and core skills to enable children to thrive in an ever changing world.   Our Curriculum actively promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, or those of no faith.

Through a system of Sports and House Captains, Leader in Me Captains and Wellbeing Ambassadors, as well as a Pupil Parliament with five councils: Learning, Safety, Eco, Sports and Friendship, we are growing the leaders of the future.

We are an inclusive school and cater for the needs of all different types of learners, including children with SEND. We pride ourselves on supporting children emotionally and educationally through any challenges that present themselves.

We ensure that children develop high levels of self-esteem. If you feel successful, you will be successful!

Local Governors of Conanught, and Trustees and Members of TAMAT (The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust) are committed to quality assure the effectiveness of leadership in delivering an outstanding education for every child.

Childhood is a very special time and no one gets a second chance at it.

We want our school to deliver the very best education for all.
