Notes

It is the week that Year 6 pupils sit their SATs. We wish them all the best and renew our own determination to do the best we can for our turn next year. Good luck, Year 6. We will be supporting them by giving them our classrooms each morning. We have lots of activities to do outside.

The theme for the week is ‘British Values – individual liberty’. The word of the week is liberty - being able to express ourselves, within the rule of law and without losing respect for others.

Forest school is Rainier (first group) this week. The children must not bring football kits to wear for Forest School. Please note it will be Rainier (second group) next Tuesday 20 May.

Spellings this week are revision words:

ascend, awkward, species, probably, transferring, receive, writer, thought, dough, conscience.

SATs take place from Monday to Thursday.

Remember to get to school for 8:20am and join your teachers and friends for the SATs breakfast. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you are not eating!

Get a good night’s sleep every night.

You might feel nervous.  This is okay.

You know a lot more than you think you do. You can do it!  It will all be okay, just try your best.

Whatever happens, remember we all think you are brilliant just the way you are!
