Homework details for week commencing 1st July 2019

Please note that your child is expected to complete all of the homework for their year group, and not choose from the lists below.

Year 3  
Reading Read at least 5 times before next Monday.   Each time you read choose a word and try to think of two other words that are in the same word family.  For example, happy, unhappy, happiness.  
Maths Log on to My Maths and complete the activities set on by your teacher.

Talk Homework

If you are worried, who would you talk to?
Spellings Learn your new spellings for this week. It is the last test this week!
Times Tables Learn your times tables for this week.  It is the last test this week!  
   
   
Year 4
Reading Each time you read find an example a direct speech.

Spellings

Learn your new spellings for the following week. These will be set towards the end of the week.

Times Tables Continue to practise your times tables. Your teacher will set you the appropriate timestables on Timestable Rockstars. See if you can beat any of your previous scores and make it on to the Year 4 leaderboard!  
Maths Log on to mymaths.co.uk and complete the activity set by your class teacher. Your login and password should be in your homework diary. 
 
Year 5
Reading Read at least 5 times before next Monday.  Please remember to read out loud.

Reminders

Equipment: whiteboard pen, blue handwriting pen, ruler, red pen and a pencil.

PE kits in for Wednesday and Thursday.

Water bottles should come in daily.

Class Talks - If you have not yet done yours, remember to have it in school this week ready to share.
